I have recently had an accident on a mini roundabout. I stopped at the give way lines to let a car go passed looked to my right again and it was clear so I started to drive across the roundabout, a car from my left did not even stop at the roundabout or slow down just went straight across in front of me. As I was only driving slowly I had enough time to break and missed hitting this car. Just as I was about to pull away a motor bike hit the side of my car on the back wing. I was stationary at the time as I still had not pulled away. There is a very large dent in the side of my car. The motor cyclist said I pulled out on him and he did not see the car that pulled out on me. I felt that if I had pulled out on him would he have not hit the front of my car. I also got the impression that he did not even slow down at the roundabout to make sure I had got right out of his way before he entered it. He also said I was only doing 30mph which on a roundabout seems a bit fast. Any ideas who will get the blame for this as the insurance company is norwich union and we are both insured by the same company

In my humble opinion if the motorcyclist hit your rear wing he is to blame as it would be his responsibility to avoid you.
This is regardless of the reason why you had to stop(the actions of another driver)
Its the motorcyclist who is to blame :-)
You shoul've asked this question in law.
Is there any CCTV?
Without witnesses you may struggle.
The cyclist is on the roundabout and you have stopped in front of him, where he's struck you is irrelevant, I'd imagine he's tried to go around you, without an indeoendent witness to your having to take avoiding action due to the other car not giving way.
I think you'll struggle.
My toffee loving friend does make a good point about witnesses though.
