i think clerical medical and general took over this company some years ago. although they have many offices their head office is in bristol and their phone numbers are 0117-929-0290 and
0845-603-6770. i used to work for a large insurance organisation and it was very common for people to phone up asking where to trace their old policies. all building societies and insurance organisations have a book that tells you who took what over and who merged with whom so you could really phone any of them...good luck
