Just wondering if anyone can advise, my aunty booked a holiday i think in December last year for a 3 week holiday to Canada in August, 4 days before she was due her father died suddenly. The insurance company is refusing to pay due to the fact that her father had been diagnosed with cancer even though the cause of death was in no way linked to the cancer. Where does she stand on this, any ideas welcome. Thanks

are you saying the father was going to go on the holiday? or that the "death of a close relative" clause has been invalidated because he had cancer? Anyway, read the policy, it will tell you everything you need to know
