Can I insure a Car under My Insurance if I am not on the title?

Who is going to drive it?
To insure the car you need to have financial interest in it, ie your wife/husband or mother/son , you cant insure a friends car .
Also as Ethel said, who is going to be the main driver, you also have to be the main driver to insure a car , it is called fronting for instance if a father insures a child in his name but his son is going be the main driver, it is actually illegal and the insurers will refuse to pay a claim in the event of an accident.
That is not quite true, harry. Many non-drivers own vehicles and insure someone else to drive.

Fronting is a different matter and amounts to fraud, as you say.

I will be the only driver. And i could get my son or brother on the title instead of me.
