I have just had an awful realisation that I haven't declared a load of money I received. It was "Access to Work" money that I get - help towards the costs of taxis to work when my A.S is so bad that i can't walk and carry all my stuff too. I didn't even think- I just put down the normal yearly amount I spend on buses, taxis etc for my self-employed work, and totally forgot that I actually receive some of the money back.
Since my tax return has already gone and been processed, what shall I do? Contact the tax office? Ask my accountant? I would hate to think that they reckon I am on the fiddle! Advice appreciated!!

You could ask your accountant to do an amendment for you. Or approach the Tax Office yourself for free in order to make the amendment. They will not penalize you if it is a genuine accidental understatement of earnings.
