Hi, I've been considering doing this for a while, can anyone give me advice on what i would need to do and get sorted and look into so that I can see how viable the idea is?

Thanks :)

As a solicitor, you qualify for immigration to the USA as a 'professional' but you would still require a firm offer of employment before being granted an immigrant visa.

That;s brilliant thank you :)

Any ideas of the kind of work i could use my skills for over there without necessarily getting another qualification?
Thanks for your reply.

There must be quite a few US firms, trading internationally, who employ staff specifically because of their knowledge of UK business law. Unfortunately, I haven't got a clue as to how you find them ;-(
