Is it not covered in your house insurance?
My bank offered me phone insurance recently so i took it up. (I bank with Nat West) Your bank may also be able to offer you a similar deal asl most banks these days are offering insurance. Other than that try carphone warehouse or the link as they are mobile phone retailers they might be able to offer you a deal. Otherwise contact your network provider they also might be able to help.

It was in my car (company car) and apprently is not covered unless locked in a steel vault welded to the floor (or someting like that) i was slightly annoyed about this but what can you do.
The majority of personal belongings sections under motor insurance are limited to 250, so you would not have been able to claim for both. For claims, they do have to be locked away in either the boot compartment or the storage under the dashboard, not just left in the vehicle.

Most insurance policies sold with mobile phones are not worth the money. Shop around and you will find a good deal. Many banks now offer upgraded accounts which include mobile phone insurance.
