Hello. Does anyone know if you have to pre-book the bus shuttle service online from Sydney airport to 'Y City Hotel' in downtown Sydney, or can I just turn up and book and pay on the day. Thanks in advance for any help.

it says here you have to book ahead

We've been a couple of times to Sydney, and haven't booked until we got there, didn't have any problems. Good luck and enjoy, wonderful city.

May I recommend dining at Phillips Foote restaurant/pub on George Street close to the bridge and ferry terminal.

yes, the rules apparently prevent drivers and touts from approaching you, but they needn't stop you approaching them.
