Travel insurance declarations

I know that insurance companies will try and get out of paying out whenever they can, but do you have to declare every visit to the doctor. That sprain to your left foot you had 15 years ago?

what it more or less amounts to is anything you might suffer a recurrence of on holiday. If you claim for treatment of asthma, and they find you'd had it before and didn't tell them, they'll be disinclined to pay up.
You should declare only accidents that are important.
