Didnt know what category to post this question in so chose motoring as they were on Top Gear the other week!
Does anyone have any experience of these off road type mobility scooters? There seems to be lots of people investing in them and new businesses being set up in areas such as the Peak Park etc for people to hire them.
I just wonder what kind of damage do these things do - are they like quad bikes that churn up soft ground? And how fast do they go?

Thanks in advance

Haven't met one yet on the North Yorkshire Moors. Be interested to hear more about them but they sound a bit more eco friendly than off road vehicles and quadbikes
Any vehicle (Even a Bicycle) will churn-up soft ground. Anyway this is what they are :-

Thanks for info. There doesnt seem to be any bad press about them as yet. Wonder if thats because they are really good or because people dont want to be seen as discriminating against disabled people??
