Why don`t workers charge up their power tools at their own home in the previous evening instead of waiting until they come to your home and use your electricity? If you say anything about it they think you`re a moaning old git., and probably charge you extra also. I`m fed up with it, as it`s not the first time they`ve done it. Builders etc, please oblige, as we`re not all rich.

Hmmm, good point!
This happened to an old friend, the TV ariel man put his battery to charge and she thought it was part of the TV. It was left on charge till he came back 2 days later.
They do put them on charge at home. Battery life doesn't last for long though.

Yeah... and why don't they go to the loo before turning up as well... wasting my loo roll and water... bastards!
Anybody work out how much it actually costs you to charge a power drill ?

http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1905195

Say 3 hours charge at 7 Watts = 0.021KWhrs say 10p per Unit

What's that? let's be mad say 1p - push the boat out and say I've got it wrong by a factor of 10 - 10p

Exactly how poor are you?
Thats when he came back looking for it.
And what if they don't have cordless?
Leaving it on charge for 2 days will not have done it any good.

A decent battery drill is fully charged well within the hour.
.......... er ............... I take a kettle as well ........... :o(
I'd run an extension round town and power my house from it.
When people ask you to do a job, why can't they be prepared when you arrive?

I'm not Pickfords.
We always take a cordless extension lead with us ...that stops the moaners!
do people actually really and truly get annoyed with something as small an issue as this???

REALLY???

Jees.... Perhaps they need to find something else to worry about...
