why is the sound on hd tv so much lower than normal digital tv

Strange. Ours tends to be louder, especially on BBC.

Hi flitty.

This is not the "norm" for HD as I too have to turn down the volume when watching HD programmes.
I agree with flitty, I always have to turn the volume up several notches when on HD, I wonder if it's peculiar to the TV, I have an LG 37"
