How about this for a rate of tax ....
Care of the last lot in power I guess !

Price breakdown
Passenger Price Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges per person Inclusive total*
1 Adult £ 37.00 £ 75.90 £ 112.90

So the tax is twice the return air fare !
This is a return BA flight to Geneva in August !!!

The format went to pot ....
Cost of flight is £37
Tax is £75.90 !!!!
That's over 200% of cost of flight
Probably the flight is cost price or less whereas the tax is flat

BA rather need to be keeping people on board

Can they really be running flights at £37 at a profit? - I don't think so

Swiss air can do flight on same days ...plus minus 1 to 2 hours ...
For drum roll £28 return + tax ...total comes to ...£98.92 ....
