Hi,

Just tried to send a txt to somone ive known for a year or so and instead of it saying message sent, it says message failed unknown receipient. Why is it all of a sudden an unknown reciepient, when I txt her a month or so ago. It was fine then!

Perhaps she's changed her mobile number since last time you contacted her?

Im surprised she didnt tell me, if thats the case.

But a very good point. Thanks!
Why not try ringing her. Maybe she has changed her number?
it could be either :

they have closed that phone account so the number currently is not in use .

the person has your number blocked so you cannot contact them on that number via your number .

or simply a fault in the phone network . " which does happen " .
