Just bought one of these at the car boot and trying to charge it and the green light comes on. I have put batteries in, but it keeps bleeping and saying 'Not Reg'. Do I have to go through the Menu and Register or do something? Unfortunately no handbook. Help please !

normally you have to hold down a button on the base station for about 5-10secs until it beeps or a light starts flashing, which puts the base in registration mode, then have a look thorough the menus in the handset for an option to register to base (or similar) select that and it should register the handset to the base station.

Hi Chuck, the only button on the base is a Page button which beeps twice, doesn't seem to make any different to the phone. Can't see a button underneath the base. Managed to find REg Base on Menu, but can't connect with phone base. Keeps going back to Not Reg. ....
