Can't upload HD files from JVC camcorder

Recently bought an HD Everio JVC Camcorder and am totally unable to upload files onto computer. They appear in My Works/Everio but when I try to dragg them across to Cyberlink Power Director it doesn't work! I'm really frustrated by it!

Is your computer able to support High Definition files? You may need a software upload or a more powerful processor.
