Hi. I'm currently in the R.A.F and lookin for a career change. I'm very interested in becoming a paramedic and currently joining the First Response Team on my base. The only qualifications i have are 10 GCSE's, all grade C and above and i'm willing to go to further education to help me out. I've tried looking on loads of internet sites but from what i can gather the system has just changed for entering. If anyone can help/advise me on what i need to do i would appreciate it loads!!

whilst you are still in the RAF could you not ask for a posting to the RAF Mountain Rescue Team and do their first response courses? Valley have one and St Athan, but Valley might be nearer.

cheers for the link :)
You might also want to have a look at the London Ambulance Service website http://www.londonambulance.nhs.uk/ - they happen to be recruiting trainee paramedics at the moment.
