Two Tv's with sky + and Tvlink

Hi I've searched everywhere online .. and get the same instructions.
I am trying to use the tv link(skyeye)
for eg:
1 Press the SERVICES button
2 Press the NUMBER 4 button (System Set-up)
3 Press the 0,1 then the SELECT button [Installer menu]
4 Press the NUMBER 4 again. [RF Outlets]

the thing is .. I cant activate the rf2 outlet because
stage 3 doesn't work for me?
Pressing the 0,1 simutaniously ... on the remote to get to the Installer menu doesnt work?
there is nothing wrong with the remote 0 and 1 works on all orther functions
all cables are correctly!!

Do not press 0 and 1 simultaneously; press 0, release then immediately follow by pressing 1.

So, in the sequence you have given above, you press each button seperately thus

4

like you said.. still no response, it's so annoying !!
