To buy a Power Shower or not?

With the increase in power charges, disregarding the actual price of buying and fitting a power shower, would the cost of electrically heating the water for showers be more or less than using hot water that is heated by a combi boiler, using gas? There are 2 people in our household and we shower every day. As we have a combi boiler, the water is only heated as required, we have not got a hot water tank. Thanks.

One other thing to consider is the amount of water that a power shower uses. Are you on a meter or on the old rates system?
These items deal with using a power shower with a combi boiler.
