Likewise if I didn't recognise the name of the addressee but if it had just the wrong house number on I would have pointed the driver in the right direction.

Just wish the postman had brought me the two packets I was expecting this morning!

you did the right thing... my gf received a letter addressed only to her flat it had �500 cash in it no name no note or anything. she spoke to a policeman in the street and he just said keep it, that was because there was no name on the envelope it was very odd, but covered her rent for a month.

tbh you did the right thing but imagine how much money could have been stuffed in a parcel!!!
