Can anyone tell me at what mileage a cambelt should be replaced on a Citroen C3 ?

it should tell you all this info in the handbook of the car,if you dont have one try to buy one from citroen or even try ebay,as it will come in very handy in the future,for lots of things,or just phone you local citroen garage and ask.

Our local Citroen dealer's service dept are a nightmare to get hold of, hence asking the question on here. Thanks for taking the time to reply though.

For the price of a belt to what is would cost you if the belt snaps is hundreds, the belt should be changed at least 50.000, whilst you are getting that done replace the fan belt, power steering belts the same time, Costly??? It makes sense. the job is then done once.

TWR - Thanks for the answer. I had a cambelt snap on a clio, resulting in a repair cost of �800, hence the paranoia !

depends on what engine you have
eg 1.6 petrol c3 is every 80 k
1.6 hdi is every 150 k .

but i Guess TWR knows better than citroen ?
