Thank you Doc Spock - that's what I thought but so far no one I have tried in Portsmouth has been any help at . So I'll try again. It may partly because I called it heat resistant wire. Back to the drawing board.
the wire you need is known as HOTSPOT it is available in 1.5mm and 2.5mm 1.5 is up to2500 watts , 2.5mm is for2500 to 4000 watts. buytl ( pronounced bew tul) single cable can be used but does degrade with heat and age should be good for about 5 years it is more readily available
