I had two Yucca's and tried to dig them out. The roots are like white noughat (is that how u spell nuggit?), and go really deep. Any bits of root that break of regrow. So, dig out as much as you can, then leave it a year. Anything that starts to regrow, squirt with "Tumble Weed" or similar product.
