When it rains the passenger footwell gets soaked.
Car Dec 05 plate.
It's been back and dealer can't find anything wrong (surprise surprise) and I am assured they have never had this problem before!!
Just hoped fellow AB'ers could help

Leaking windscreen ?

Lift the carpet and get someone to spray a hose round the windscreen and see if the water gets in.
Hi eihpos
As well as the screen, it could be coming via a door seal maybe - a friend had this on his peugeot

Thanks both but I fear not the answer.
We have power hosed the windscreen and door but can't make it ''happen'' - and it is the original windscreen.
Hi eihpos.
Have you looked under the carpet at the drain hole.
i had the same problem.
have you a sun roof? and does this only happen when your car is parked downward slope as oposed to it being parked on the flat?
When you say you've hosed the door have you hosed the door window. The seal between the window and the door body is only a dirt seal, water will run down the glass into the door, it should then be kept in the door and drain out of the holes in the bottom. If the membrane or panel inside the door trim is out of place the water can run down the inside of the trim and into the car.
My mates brand new Fiat Punto had a similar problem and it turned out to be a small hole under the wheel arch and water was spraying up on rainy days and flooding into the footwell. Could you have a similar problem?
Another possible cause might be the drain holes that drain away the water getting into the heater fresh air intake grilles below the windscreen-sometimes they are vertical holes thru to the underside, sometimes they have rubber bits on the end of drainpipes, which get blocked.
