Problem with Sky television

Last night watching Sky I turned a channel and it said "There is a technical fault with this channel. Please try later" on every channel. It's still doing it now. We have another sky box in the house and that one seems to be working ok.

Does anyone know what this could be?

I find that Sky boxes sometimes need unplugging from the mains and allowed to stand for a minute or two.

If you re-plug them in they seem to start looking for channels and everything then works OK.

The inside of a Sky box is a bit like a PC so it is a like turning a PC off and on again, it seems to fix some problems.

Thanks for that. Yeh we swapped the boxes aound and they work ok now so it is probably something like that. Some of the channels are a bit dodgy but that is probably just a problem with Sky reception or something.
