Garden set

Does anyone know of a good garden set for someone who has just got their first home (with a garden) that I can buy in the shops tonight? Many thanks :-)

If you can get them, you can't beat 'Spear and Jackson', we were given a complete set of them at our wedding twenty nine years ago, and they are all still going strong.

thanks for that :-) i went everywhere in my lunch hour and in the end i ended up buying a 5 mini glass vases with a bulb in each to grow indoors from M&S looks nice though ha ha oh and i bought a mini garden lantern from there too (with a tea light in it).

I may use your idea for the xmas prez though :-)

The other very useful gardening gift is a good set of secateurs which are nearly always needed sooner or later for pruning shrubs, hedges, etc. Wilkinsons make a pair with a lifetime guarantee. They're about �14, and very good.
