unlocking a phone

i would like to unlock an o2 phone and change to orange - does anyone know how to do this - i tried using an internet site but it did not work and my money was refunded

Take it down the local market and pay the guy a fiver.

dont know of a market where i live but there is a shop someone has now told me will do it for 15 - will take it there

ive never known an o2 phone to be locked?? they are the only network that dont lock phones.

telephone o2 and tell them your changing over, I have done many times with virgin and vodafone usually no problem.
