Any ideas what free software packages I could download to make some birthday invitations. I used Microsoft Works before but wanted to try others. Thanks

We made up our invitations for hubbys 40th, using 'clip art' Dont think they specifically do invitations but you can download clips and copy n paste. They'd be unique!

You can buy CD's that contain thousands and thousands of Clipart and also programmes for card making. The CD's are not generally that expensive, particularly if you get them from the "Bargin Bins" in the larger stationary stores. Maybe a fiver or so.

Hi do a Google on " SERIF" and on there site you can download free a first class desktop publishing program comes complete with clipart etc no catches, gimmicks or restrictions.

I would say to use " Photo Explosion" I could even e-mail you the software. Or you could use "Art Explosion" Scapbook Factory. My wife and I use both. I have the software to e-mail that too.
