Mini jet

Does anyone remember Jeremy Clarksons tv prog 'Speed' (last year I think)? On one bit there was a jet engine that was about the size, and looked like it had been made out of, a baked bean tin. I remember it was a very simple design and pushed a bike along at 40mph odd. Anyone know where I can get the design. Tried a web search with no sucess.
