My pension is paid to me weekly on a Monday. I have read that the day when it is paid is based on the last 4 numbers of a person's N.I. number
If that is the case I should be paid on a Tuesday!!??
Also--why are some people paid monthly? (in arrears)
i.e. you'll get two payments in June. (I actually prefer to think in 'banking months', rather than 'calendar months'. In my case, there'll be a double payment on my monthly bank statement either in June or July, depending upon the exact date the statement is issued).
June 2nd is not a bank holiday. To calculate future paydays you subtract either 2 or 3 from the last date, depending on whether it's a 30 or 31 day month. Your payday this month was 7th. As it has 30 days your next one will be on 5th. As may has 31 days the one after that will be the 2nd.
i recently received an email from my bank advising me i could set up a text alert when DWP payments were made into my account. Santander. No need to look at any calendar then 0 they text you when the payment is in
