Hitachi ?Sky remote codes

Can someone help please I have just bought a Hitachi 22LD4200 set & can't find a code which allow my sky remote to control the basic tv functions.

Have phoned Sky who were unable to help, so asking for help outside .

Just use the Hitachi remote for the Hitachi and the Sky remote for Sky. Annoying but simple.

this happened to me. the sky remote did everything but turn the volume up and down. i rung sky and they sent someone out to put a code into the remote

I know it could take a little while but if you got to http://www1.sky.com/customer_support/pdfs/sky+-remote_control_programming.pdf and scroll down to the hitachi section then try all of those codes, even though your TV isnt listed one of them should work.
