Hi, I've been buying and selling on Ebay for years and Ebay considers my selling to be above standard. However recently I have a selling allowance of 30 items - I used to get a 100 free listings a month.
The allowance is simply not enough so I opened an Ebay shop so that I could up my sales to 100 items a month. However, when I try to sell items in my 'shop' my page gets routed back to my original Ebay page and I simply get the message that says that I've already reached my limit of 30 items - I'm just banging my head against a wall, I may be (almost) a 'silver surfer' but try to find myself around the internet.
Please, please help me with this as my head is starting to hurt!

Have you tried the 'Request higher selling limits' option on your home page?
It is on your seller profile.
I have 100 items a month limit as a private seller.
Have you opened a shop by making a new account for this shop.
Go to customer service and start a live chat session -it is better than ringing them as the language barrier can sometimes be challenging. If you have opened a shop they will be charging you £17 a month plus vat. For this you should get 200 free buy it now listings but you have to pay for auction listings -around 8p . There is obviously something gone wrong and only Ebay can help
If you have opened a separate account for your shop (unwise as you lose all your feedback score) then make sure you have not clicked the 'keep me signed in' box and make sure you are signing on as your shop not your private account.
