Boiler going on and off ...

Hi there,

We've got Vokera Combi boiler (Compact 28). I recently noticed that when we use hot water the boiler will keep on switching itself on and off. It doesn't happen when the heating is on. It can run for many minutes. It's happening only when HW is used. The higher the flow, the longer it stays on.

Is it normal? If not what can be wrong? Any ideas, suggestions?

Thanks

Rob

Isn't this normal for a combi boiler?  They heat hot  water as you need it rather than storing it in a tank and the on off is just maintaining temperature depending on the flow rate.
