What Are Side Affects From A Sedative

just had a colonoscopy and had a mild sedative how long does it take to to get back to normal with the sedative.i had one a fortnight ago and felt ok,just had another one with a bit more sedative because i was very anxious and am now back home and trying to sleep but feel a bit anxious and cannot get to sleep.is this normal

after one sedative - you kinda sleep it off

with two episodes of sedation close together - this sort of interaction is common and is very common if two occur within 7 days ( 80%)

just wait and see
larger dose of sedative, longer it takes to wear off. You should be fine tomorrow.
I've had a fair few of these and have been through what you are now. You'll be fine in the morning, if my experience is anything to go by.
