I ordered a will on the 27th December and paid £10.

Today I got the email telling me it had been delivered so I logged in to my account but I can see no way of saving, downloading or viewing the will.

Can anyone help? I have emailed gov.uk but am being forwarded to different departments.

The final column ought to provide the downloadable link.

Do you have the details in 'Delivered'...'First Downloaded'.....and 'Available until..' columns?

Until then, there is nothing to see.....I got mine through just after midnight after ordering them on 27th also.

Thanks jack.

I have the date of delivery box (today's box). The first downloaded box states 'Never' and the 'available until' box is empty.

Underneath the boxes it says:

You will get a message when copies of the wills you have ordered are ready to download. This should happen within 10 working days from order.

You will have 31 days to download your copy of each will, starting from the first day that you log in to see it.

The final column has neither header nor content.
Seems you, like me, will have to wait a little longer than the 10 days originally offered. I ordered 2no. wills at the same time, and have only received one so far. But I did get an e-mail with a link to my 'order page' so YouGOV at least got that bit right. :o)

It just seems odd that I have had the email saying it is delivered and the box on the log in page gives today's date as delivery date (two days later than the estimated delivery date) if it is not yet delivered.

I only bought the one.
Did you use the e-mail link to get to your account page?
Have you checked that you are logged-in?

I know I'm clutching at straws but can't think of anything else to advise....:o)
Question Author
Yes, I did use the link and yes, I am logged in.

This is the page I get:

Thank you so much! That has put my mind at rest. So it seems it is ready, but not quite just yet.

Thanks again, jack
You're welcome!
I hope your will answers more bloomin' questions than mine did.....LoL
Excuse my ignorance, but is this a will as in, a when you die Will you order?
Question Author
Oh dear. Exciting, though, innit? Who pinched my inheritance, that's what I want to know.
Question Author
trt, these are wills that have gone through probate so you can look at any deceased person's last will and testament.

These wills have always been available to the public but now you can buy them online instead of applying in writing or person.
I was hoping to find out if my GGGG-GrandDaddy was the actual father of my GGG-GrandMother, or not.

The most I can now say is that he didn't say he wasn't..........:o)

Are you hinting at incest?
Thats interesting hc thanks.

Is this just for the UK, as a good friend of mine (English) died last year abroad where he lived permanently, and had his own company.

He was married to a foreign girl, and has no relations in the UK, but he owed a few people money (not me) here in the UK.

This is just for the UK, trt.
Nooooooo.......LoL

John Hutchinson married Alice Bateman in July 1813. (Miss) Alice Bateman had given birth to a daughter, Margaret, in Jan 1813. Margaret retained the surname Bateman after her mother's marriage and right up to her own marriage.
It has always seemed to be reasonable to believe that Margaret was born daughter of John and Alice, but prior to their marriage....
I thought if his will made mention of his 'adopted' (or similar) daughter I'd have my answer; but he calls her his daughter.
