I had an anchor breast lift yesterday and was supposed to have implants put in. When I woke up my surgeon said he tried to do the implants but couldn't. I was too out of it to pay much attention to what he said. Any idea why he couldn't do the implant?

Possibly not enough tissue to make a pocket for the implant.
Daffy has suggested one reason.
Another would be after raising the skin flaps there was not enough "play" to cover the implant. if the surgeon had put tension on the skin flaps to "pull" then together, they may well necrose (die).

Just a thought.
if you had the surgery yesterday, have you not asked the doctor today ?
