Our local town is so posh we have a pizza cottage not a hut (absolutely true I may take a pic!!)

there is a town local to me that is so posh that it wouldn't allow McDonalds or Argos.

My town is so posh even the nudist beach has a butler. :0)

The nearest town, Southport, is a faded beauty, and has been deteriorating for several years. 3 MacDonalds says it all.

Our Town has a Castle, known for a few distinguished T.V.star's, also a member of Parliament, A film called "Whistle down the wind" also known for the witches, a few TV Programs, also, people that speak their minds!!!

Jane Doe we don't have to close the village down, the whole island closes in winter, Oct - May we are abandoned.

Ours is really posh half the time, we have ASDA, ALDI, many Polski slep, we have all slim good looking people wandering around the town all morning, buying expensive goods,they have lovely cars, they are extremely well dressed, they all look like film stars, then, the big fat scruffy locals on the dole get out of bed and arrive and take over the town, they have their own buses from the council estates every 20 mins to take them the few hundred yards to town, (we get two buses a day or walk 3 miles.) then the smart polish people who are keeping this very famous town alive, go to the meeting point to get their vans and buses to take them to work, so the town is now back in the hands of the locals who couldn't care less as long as they get their bus home for free.

But Ibiza town has 1 burger King (2 in summer) and 1 Macdonalds (3 I think in summer) we know how to live!!

and we are so unposh that we get vomiting Brits here for the summer, that is how bad it gets.

Quite posh, we live very close to a tiny holiday resort but the grockles never really find us hidden away, thankfully.

My local town is a ship-hole now, and gradually getting worse.
It used to be a vibrant little market town but new industry started, and stopped, and brought the rest of the original industry down with it.
No industry, no jobs, no-body bothered, no future.
Very sad. Seems to be similar story all over the UK these days.
