uninstalling it has been one of my better choices recently

Ahhh I think it may be that I want to turn off the notifications, I keep getting a message saying that I've got 10 messages from facebook but when I look they're from months ago and always the same ones.

If you got to the app itself, go to Notifications and uncheck the options like notifications for a) friend request b) likes c) photos etc

If you touch the dots at the bottom of the screen another set of options comes up, one of which is Logout.

Done all of that and it's still popping up - nay mind I'll just ignore it. Thanks all for your help x
