London?
Royston Vasey?
I think it could be connected to the seat shortage or is there a bed shortage in London I will start counting beds. Leave the seats counting to mindbullets!
The Fens!

What a funny question !

.... in all seriousness, would guess it'd have to be an island where there's little population movement and therefore not much choice in prospective mates ! Having said that, I'm sure that these days, many younger people facing that prospect would move to the mainland .... hence the decline of many island communities.

Think I'm right in saying that in many islands, there are often only 5 or 6 "families" & it's not therefore uncommon for more distant relatives, e.g. cousins to marry.

Buckingham Palace

Norfolk or the Hebrides?

I love Bob's answer ........ had forgotten about them !!!

very seriously it used to be the Orkney Islands some 40 to 50 years ago.

I have heard of Frome near Bath being referred to by the locals as very inbred.

Got to be the current Big Brother house.

The Fens (which includes part of Norfolk Philtaz), and a lot of Norfolk villages that civilisation has not yet touched.  And before anybody gets at me, I love Norfolk and live in Norfolk.

the 'Trisha' show.
Trisha is filmed in Norfolk!!!
Without a shadow of a doubt, the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, followed closely by Stroud in the same county.
Agree with FP - I live in Norfolk too (but I am Scottish), there is a village near us which was very inbred until quite recently loads of stories to tell I believe!!!  Loads of people in my village are related too ....
yep I'm with Norfolk, two of my sisters lived there (we are from Italian decent) and I used to see a lot weird looking folk when in their village and surrounding towns.
I agree with FP.I too live in Norfolk. After twenty years in London it was a bit of a culture shock although I was born in Norfolk.
Loads of big families who all seem to be inter-related in some way.
In case everyone born and bred in Norfolk comes after me - Philtaz said it first!!  ;o)
