oil boiler

put on my water to heat this morning and quickly switched off again. The noise it made was like a fan or something not normal noise and boiler not firing up anyone shed any light on this what could be wrong? It is a boulter boiler. Phone call to somebody me thinks.

Definitely call someone in, futri. Could be any one of a number of things...... none of them likely to be DIY I'm afraid.
