Was struggling with needles but just learned to do it with my finger....

Casting on with fingers is the best way. Have fun.

K1 p2 K3tog s1 k2 psso repeat to last 3 k3
p back
K2p1 slip one purlwise knit WF k3 into back of next stitch psso

are you sure you want to do this it might be easier to learn Mandarin or something
