If you're that desperate, you can. I agree with the current policy - there is no quick and easy way to delete your questions/answers. This site is an archive of questions and answers and people take time answering them. If you went around deleting all your questions, the ensuing answers would be automatically pulled too. Then there would be no archive.

As it stands, if you want to get an question/answer removed, simply use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page to ask an AB Editor to remove it.

I agree Skids.  I'm a member of other boards which allow this, along with the recommending of posts by anyone, provided they are members(not just the originator as on here).

They also allow the withdrawl of posts for any reason i.e link not working, effects of alcohol mixed with keyboard and mouth engaged before brain, one or more of which we've all been guilty of if we're honest!

100% agree Skids

Indie, the editor doesn't remove it, just think about Wraith's repeated request!!

An excellent suggestion Skids.

Dear Users,

As was so very well outlined by IndieSinger, removal of questions and posts can alter the state of a thread making it useless to other users.

We will remove posts if we feel that they do not interfere with the thread; or if they infringe upon privacy and identity etc.

Regards

AB Ed

No you should not be able to remove it if the question has answers. People might have gone to the trouble of researching an answer. One solution if you no longer want to be associated with the question is to have your username replaced with ANON.

Anon only used for the unwanted question.
