Thanks snags, brilliant, looks slightly cool, love it.
40 degrees anticipated Neti. An Indian Summer with record high temperatures............................. ;o)
No help, but right now blowing a gale & sunny
Question Author
Blowing a gale would be nice!
It's a very hot wind though Nets!!!
Sun's shining here along the coast in Kent, windy but fine.
Beautiful autumn day here in Brighton & Hove, windy but warm with long sunny spells. The shapes of trees and leaves dancing on my living room wall look beautiful.
Question Author
No No, I want cold and bluster for this Thurs!
Are you coming to see us, Neti ?
Question Author
I am indeed joggerjane, the no. 12 bus (or 12a if it ia still running via Birling gap), I love going on the bus and spen ding a day shopping and eating in Brighton (my birth town) Always wander round the North Laine, love it to bits. I used to work in the Old Ship Hotel in the 60's, boy we had some fun!!

Are there still some of those cheap (indian) shops on the main road (opp Primark or thereabouts) My daughter loves the t-shirts from there!
Question Author
Thank you all for the weather links, I think I will be well suited (and booted ha ha).
You're edging dangerously towards Hove there, Neti.

Once you go past the clock tower and the top entrance to Churchill Square, you're heading for the wrong side of the tracks.

I'd suggest you stick to North Laine. If you haven't been for a while, cross over to Kensington Gardens and check out a very jolly little pub called The White Rabbit.

Will do that thing jj x
It's really jolly. You have to almost squeeze along Ken Gardens when it's busy, and then, suddenly ... there's this little pub on the left, and you can't really see it until you're right outside it. It's like a little oasis.
