Careful sara............she'll send the dodgy uncle round.
Melissa - your question would have appeared under the tab for unanswered questions (currently there are over 2000 there) ready for anyone to pick up if they so wished.
I don't see why it shouldn't Melissa.
Depends whether it is from a decent University or a flaky one.
wow.. I'm glad I asked your age on your other thread. I'm guessing you're about 13½
Question Author

it was kind of flaky...Southbank...um yeah not the best of Universities but i got a 1st on my degree...:->!
computer nerd, but can't do a ½, lol!
depends what your technical 'differentiation' as there are plenty of you out there, esp in the States......
19 is too young to have completed a BSc unless you were a prodigy. It would certainly count in US anyway.
"computer nerd, but can't do a ½, lol!"

lol, PWNED.
sara, at least you are not ½ ignored ☺
thanks Naz!

*and thank you google, lol*

ttfn ;o) x
Whether or not your degree is recognised there, is one thing....getting a visa and a job is something else.
I read somewhere (can't remember where) that in the US degrees generally take 4 years so the usual 3 year ones from the UK aren't considered 'proper' degrees.
My cousin`s husband had a UK computing degree and got a fabulous job in Silicon Valley designing the microchips that went in the first heart pacemaker/defibulators. I would think the language of computers is the same the world over so I would be surprised if they didn`t recognise a UK computer degree.
