I have bought a self-basting chicken roaster (with lid) for O/H to do tonight's chicken in, I usually just use an unlidded one. Can he just put the chicken, potates and veg in together and just let it get on with it ?
Many thanks

Thanks Eddie, O/H wanted a lidded one as he always says meat is too dry. Just glad he cooks more than me or I'd live on pot noodles and cheese!
If you have a slow cooker-try doing your whole bird in there. It comes SO moist-with no liquid added except a drizzle of olive oil,and a squeeze of lemon.
