We've just bought a huge Anthurium plant for our office. When it arrived two days ago it was blooming. Now its leaves and stems are dropping off, its leaves are turning yellow, the pink flowers are going brown and it looks like it's at death's door. Help needed immediately!

Anthuriums aren't always easy. The yellowing of the leaves suggests it is either a. In a cold or drafy place or b. the air in your office is too dry. Try giving it a feed. Don't over-water it - the compost should be just moist - move it if it is in a draught, give it plenty of light in winter and use a mist spray to moisten the leaves. I hope this isn't to late to aid the patient!
