I'd like to change the locks on my front door myself, but don't have a clue where to start!!! Where would i buy the new lock from, and what type of lock would i need to get for a upvc door which i think has a five point locking system? Thankyou xxx

ok, i think i might try my mum's first though, i'm sure she wont mind

when it says the size, what part of the lock is it referring too though?

you better hope who has been going into your house doesn't know where your mother lives!
Whatever you do dont get a cheap cylinder .. you are obviously concerned about your security.
UPVC doors can have as many locking points as you like but they are only as good as the cylinder.
Have a look at this link , it's quite scary... I carry twelve of these keys and only use 3-4 of them to open most doors I need to get beyond... and anyone can buy them..!

Altogether more difficult to open and you cant get a copy unless you have the coded security card.
isn't 80mm enormous for a standard door?
