Re daffodils outside, when the flowers die, is it okay to snip off the flower and leave the rest? Ta Muchly.

Yes. Wait until the foliage is half-yellowed, then it can be removed too.

just to snip off the head is very good as the stem works like a leaf providing extra food or so they said on gardeners world many moons ago... I always feed them as they finish flowering in the hope the bulb bulks up a bit more just some blood fish and bone and pelleted poultry poo
