how long should on average?

how long on average should a bosch fridge freezer last as mine has been making knocking noises and is not up to scratch with its temperatures

My Hoover has lasted 15y and self defrosts. I would expect more of a Bosch as they're far posher & dearer.

i`ve got a bosch had it about three years,it`s the most noisiest freedge frezzer i`ve ever had,it makes hissing knocking noises ,.have you tried defrosting it.i did and mine is purring now

There is information on the trading standards website about the length of time a fridge should last. I think that the expected life is around 5 years (although in reality I would expect more) My daughter had a fridge freezer that stopped working after 2 years. she complained to comet that as it had cost over £700 it should have lasted longer but she ended up having to take comet to court and it ended with them doing a free repair and compensation for lost food etc. Hope you get it resolved
