remove dried glass paint

I have a dried glass painting on my door.  I am at a loss as how to remove it, any ideas?  Scraping does not work as the glass is 'rippled'

try masking the area round the pain of glass then use methylated spirit rubbed in with a rag.or try using a liquid paint remover and a pan scourer. wear gloves and eye protection etc. wash the glass with soapy water when finished.
